English

You’re sporting short bangs; all the emotions (happiness, anger, sorrow, joy) seemingly can see that
your love has surrounded me

*On that day, I stood over there, watching you guys walking away intimately
It turns out that this love is a kind of entrapment

**Unarmed, I was encroached by you. Unprepared, I was emptied of everything (by you)
I was attacked at my Achilles’ heel[1], no one is able to cure it

You left behind loneliness causing me to lose sleep. You forsake everything leaving me to carry the burden
You did not say anything, did not leave a word for me

* Repeat
** Repeat

You bear to see me filled with deep sorrow[2]; You cast aside memories leaving them to be my funerary
You did not say anything, did not leave a word for me
Actually, there’s no need to say anything, no need to do anything. Let me.

Translator’s Note:

[1] 點了死穴 – In Chinese medicine, the human bodies consists of many acupuncture points. 死穴 the ‘death point’ – if one were to be needled/pointed at the ‘death point’ then you will die.
[2] 肝腸寸斷 – A Chinese idiom literally meaning liver and bowels have been cut to pieces. Brokenhearted, filled with sorrow.

Translation Chinese-English: King of Spades
