🇬🇧 你也有今天 KARMA MV will be revealed on May 9th at noon (Taiwan time) !
Its script was inspired by a true story that happened on Anatahan Island between 1944 and 1950, Jolin is acting as “The Queen Bee of Revenge”, showing the power of women.
When she heard about this story, Jolin thought that it would be very suitable for 你也有今天 KARMA MV. After discussing it with her team, it was decided unanimously as the theme.
With its 32 half-naked men, the MV is like a “Body Buffet”, it can be said that it’s totally satisfying the fantasies and welfare of old and young women !
MV choreographer is Tovaris Wilson this time, he previously collaborated with Jolin on PLAY World Tour.
He added a movement of “worshipping” to the choreography, in order to give a feeling and an atmosphere of “sacrifice”.
On top of that, Tovaris Wilson also carefully selected 32 dancers from all around the world to play the 32 men.
Jolin, who was feeling like a woman in paradise, said while laughing: “I feel like I’m the host of “World Male Model” ! This MV is dedicated to every woman ! See which one you like, this awesome male will pick you up !”
MCM brand has been invited to provide a tailor-made outfit for Jolin.
MV has been filmed by new female director Remii Huang who was a production assistant on set of movie “Life Of Pi”.
Through the vision of the female director, Jolin is performing the change of the heroine’s mood from loneliness and helplessness to tricking and bewitching all men to escape from the desert island.
Jolin, who rarely collaborates with female directors, said: “The female director’s narrative method allowed me to know how to interpret my role in a more feminine way when surrounded by boys, rather than in a violent and bloody way.”
